Growers’ Short Course moving back to Guelph
The annual LO Growers' Group Short Course has a new home this year. The Feb. 8 event will take place at Royal Canadian Legion, 57 Watson Parkway South, in Guelph.
The popular annual event still promises to provide nursery growers an opportunity to network, share information and learn more about important issues affecting the sector.
This year's Short Course has a great line-up of topics, covering everything from insect pests, weeds, trees, fungi and more. Again this year, there will be several exhibitors who supply products used by the nursery industry. As always, the day concludes with the always-popular Growers' Good Idea session. The New Products Showcase returns. Plant Products is this year's Short Course sponsor, and Gro-Bark will sponsor the lunch.
Register online at www.horttrades.com by Feb. 3 to take advantage of pre-registration fees: $65 for LO members, $75 for potential members and $25 for students. Onsite registration is $90. Register online (locc.ca), or download form from www.horttrades.com, and mail or fax to Kathleen.
